The reviews for this place don't lie. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Food is out of this world!

When a place specializes in only one thing, you know it's going to be an amazing meal! The Birria came out hot and ready to eat. The tacos were stuffed with meat and plenty of consume left over to start sipping it. I will for sure be back to this place! It would be cool to see a Birria nacho or fry in the future

All the birria you could ever dream of!!! The perfect place to satisfy your birria craving with delicious, tender meat and flavorful sauce that has the perfect amount of kick. My personal favorite was the noodle birria with hot soup, ramen, and tender beef. It also came with two birria tacos. The pizza birria was a fan favorite amongst my friends and our group was easily satisfied with one slice each. Their drinks are also so good! The pepiloco was a refreshing cucumber drink and the sangria was full of watermelon topped with tajin. All of the drinks paired well with the birria. Service was fast and friendly. They checked on us often and food came out more quickly than expected. Remember to bring cash as TIP IS CASH ONLY! The restaurant space is fairly small with 7-8 tables. We came on a Saturday evening around 6pm and were able to find a table without waiting. The place was full for most of the time we were there with a constant stream of customers so be prepared to wait a little! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for some of the BEST BIRRIA you will ever have!!

Do NOT sleep on this little hole in the wall eatery! Located on Belmar's Main Street, Los Barbaros Birria serves authentic Mexican food. And judging by the name... you can guess that their specialty is BIRRIA! Birria is a traditional dish made mainly of goat, beef, or lamb meat marinated in herbs and spices. When I walked into this restaurant, I KNEW I was in for a good meal. It was crowded and I had to wiggle my way through to get around to the ordering counter. There was a constant influx of people dining in or ordering takeout. The dining area is small so I recommend coming during off hours if you want a table inside. The menu is limited (8 choices), but that usually means the food is fresher and the chefs carefully curate every meal. I ordered the birria tacos with cheese ($16) and a strawberry horchata ($7). It took a little over half an hour to get my food, but the wait was soo worth it. I snagged a table outdoors and dove right in. *Strawberry Horchata- I've always loved horchata (rice milk drink) but I've never had it with strawberry. This drink took my love to the next level! It was refreshing, creamy, and sweet. I could drink a gallon of this, no joke. *Quesabirrias- BIIIIIG portions of juicy, tender, flavorful meat accompanied by a cup of spicy and smoky birria consomme (broth stew). They provided hot sauce, limes, and fresh radishes to bring out more flavor profiles. SO GOOD. I was stuffed after two tacos but there was no way I wasn't going to eat the third.

I will always recommend this place to friends. My favorite place to eat birria. Birria and ramen and call me sold. I come here all the time with family and friends. The place is small but in the summer they have outside seating. If coming with a larger group plan accordingly. Street parking is available. Make sure to come hungry. Tip is cash it will not be added to your credit card.

I had recently returned from Mexico and this place made me want to go right back. Beginning with very friendly and informative waitress and cool atmosphere - i got a mixed plate of Birria goodness with the beef consume' and a little radish salad. Drinks were fresh made watermelon and a sangria soda with just the right amount of spice rim on both. A definite return.

WOW do love I love birria. The texture, taste, consume for dipping mmmmm. As if the Gods were speaking to me. I happened to open up Facebook and see a video review of the neighboring establishment (I forget the name) and the Reviewer (K Chev) happens to mention LBB. What?! It's lunchtime, I'm 10 months away and undecided what I want for lunch. Let's gooooo!!! I grab my co-worker and we're off. A parking space is available right out front. This place is nicely decorated in Mexican decor. And the menu, is ONLY Birria. Birria tacos, quesadillas, pizza etc. The young lady took our order and we went back to the office to eat. What good stuff, the consume was tasty. I ordered the quesadillas which was loaded with meat and cheese. My co-worker got the tacos. Both of us had a Diet Coke and we were two happy fellas.

Yummy Yummy Birria Tacos!! This little whole in the wall on Main Street is a treat! You have no other options here, you WILL eat Birria! The logistics of the place need some work. I ordered 'for here' at the counter, and grabbed a seat, but that's sorta for table service? I stayed in my seat, and left a tip, but it's confusing Otherwise AWESOME food quality!

This is the crown jewel of Belmar and a must stop. Easy to miss little hole in the wall on main st, but look for the cute tiki hut tables outside! Small yet extremely festive atmosphere inside. Tables will fill up due to how yummy this spot is. The menu essentially has one item in different variations - Birria. You will not be disappointed. FLAVOR!!!!! Pickled radish and lime wedges on the side really help splash a brightness to the tangy dipping juice and dense beef. Don't skip out on the fresh juices whether it be cucumber, watermelon, or horchata. All delicious (I like pepiloco with cucumber, lime, tajin).

Deserves every 5 star review it gets! The mixta is a great sampler. The meat is perfectly tender and has incredible flavor. Our server was sweet and on top of it. Cute little spot on Main Street of Belmar. Stop in for probably the best birria you've had! Things to know: parking can be a challenge, this place gets BUSY, the only meat option is beef, no liquor license, cash tips only.
